Privacy Policy

A plain-English explanation of how Habitwill handles your data.

Habitwill is built around personal routines, which means privacy matters. This policy covers what the app stores, what gets synced, how purchases are validated, and where optional permissions like reminders or iOS tracking fit in.

Effective date: March 19, 2026Applies to the Habitwill mobile app and website

Account Data

Sign-in details

If you use Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, Habitwill may receive your name, email address, profile photo, and provider details through Firebase Authentication.

Habit Data

Habits, reminders, and entries

Habitwill stores the habits, categories, notes, custom values, reminder schedules, archived items, and settings you create so the app can function and sync across devices.

Purchases

Subscription and lifetime access status

Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. Habitwill uses RevenueCat to verify whether monthly, yearly, or lifetime access is active and to help restore access.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Habitwill collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Habitwill mobile app for iOS and Android, visit the Habitwill website, or interact with paid features such as Habitwill Pro.

Habitwill is a habit-tracking product designed to help people build routines, log progress, manage reminders, organize habits into categories, and review consistency over time. Because those features depend on account services, syncing, notifications, and purchase validation, some data must be processed to operate the product reliably.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Habitwill, we may collect:

  • Account information such as your name, email address, profile image, user ID, and connected sign-in provider information.
  • Habit data you choose to create, including habit names, descriptions, categories, color or icon selections, goal settings, schedules, reminder days and times, archived state, and display order.
  • Completion data such as check-ins, completion dates, notes, number values, text values, and similar progress history.
  • App settings such as theme preference, notification settings, and language or other product preferences associated with your account.
  • Purchase and entitlement information needed to determine whether free access, a monthly plan, a yearly plan, or lifetime access is active.
  • Diagnostic information such as crash logs and technical error data used to keep the app stable.
  • Limited website storage, such as a locally stored theme preference, when you use the Habitwill website.

How We Use Information

We use information we process to:

  • Provide the core habit-tracking experience.
  • Authenticate your account and link sign-in providers.
  • Sync habits, entries, categories, notes, and settings across your devices when you are signed in.
  • Schedule local reminder notifications at the days and times you choose.
  • Validate purchases, restore access, and show the correct free or paid feature set.
  • Diagnose crashes, investigate bugs, and improve reliability.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Sign-In and Purchase Processing

Habitwill supports sign-in with Google and Apple. Authentication is powered through Firebase Authentication, which means those providers and Google infrastructure may process account credentials and related sign-in data on our behalf.

In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Habitwill directly. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. To manage billing access and restore purchases, Habitwill uses RevenueCat, which may receive identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, subscription state, and transaction metadata associated with your purchase.

Notifications, Diagnostics, and Optional Tracking

Habitwill can schedule reminder notifications locally on your device based on the days and times you configure for a habit. Those reminders are meant to support the routine you set up in the app.

We use Firebase Crashlytics in production to collect crash and error diagnostics so we can identify failures and improve app stability.

On iOS, Habitwill may ask for permission through App Tracking Transparency. If you allow it, that permission may be used to help us measure marketing performance and improve how we present Habitwill Pro and subscription offers. Your decision does not block core habit tracking, syncing, or purchases.

How Data Is Stored and Synced

Habitwill stores data on your device so the app can function quickly. If you use an account, Habitwill may also sync your data to cloud services using Firebase Data Connect and related backend infrastructure.

Synced data can include your user profile, habits, categories, habit entries, notes, custom values, archived habits, reminder settings, and certain app settings tied to your account. This syncing is used so your data can persist across sessions and devices.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed with service providers and platforms that help us run Habitwill, such as:

  • Google and Firebase for authentication, app infrastructure, app protection, syncing, and crash diagnostics.
  • RevenueCat for subscription, entitlement, and purchase restoration management.
  • Apple and Google where necessary for sign-in, billing, app distribution, or platform compliance.
  • Law enforcement, regulators, or professional advisors when we are legally required to do so or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the service.

Retention, Choices, and Your Rights

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide Habitwill, maintain your account, validate paid access, resolve disputes, preserve security, or comply with legal obligations.

You can make choices about your information, including by:

  • Managing notification permissions in your device settings.
  • Managing App Tracking Transparency permissions on iOS in system settings.
  • Managing subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • Requesting access, correction, or deletion through the support contact published for Habitwill.

Depending on where you live, you may also have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
